When is Texacort Lipocream prescribed for?
Texacort Lipocream is prescribed for the treatment of eczema, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis and other skin conditions.

How should you take Texacort Lipocream?
Texacort Lipocream should be applied as a thin film onto the affected area of the skin, 1 to 4 times a day or as directed by the physician no longer than 2 weeks.

When shouldn’t you take Texacort Lipocream? 
Texacort Lipocream shouldn't be taken in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any of the components of the preparation.

Special Information on Pregnancy and Lactation:

  • Corticosteroids are known to pass through the placenta and may therefore influence the foetus. This will be mainly of significance; however, in case of an intensive treatment of large surfaces with a potent or very potent product.
  • It is not known whether corticosteroids absorbed through the skin may be demonstrated in mother's milk.
     

Special Precautions and Warnings on Texacort Lipocream:

Do not apply on the eyelids because of the possibility of contamination of the conjunctiva, with the risk of inducing glaucoma simplex or a subcapsular cataract.
 

Possible side effect with Texacort Lipocream:

  • Irritation.
  • Burning.
  • Redness.
  • Dryness of skin.
